On the weather map...First half of the weekend looks fantastic. Friday will see plenty of sunshine with highs well into the 60s. A cold front will approach from the west on Saturday bringing a chance of showers by late into the day. Most of the area will see rainfall by Saturday Night into Sunday...along with cooler temperatures. This same system could bring at least a shot of some snow flurries Sunday Night into Monday. Accumulations look unlikely at this time but it will be something worth watching.
My official Tennessee Valley weekend forecast...
Friday...Sunny. High 66.
Friday Night...Clear. Low 46.
Saturday...Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers & thunderstorms late. High 65.
Saturday Night...Showers & thunderstorms likely. Low 42. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Sunday...Rain likely. High 51. Chance of rain 80 percent.
Iron Bowl Forecast...
Alabama at Auburn (2:30 pm - Auburn, AL)...It will be partly cloudy with a kickoff temperature in the mid 60s falling to the upper 50s by the fourth quarter. Rain should hold off until late Saturday Night.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!
