My Huntsville about.com Weekend Forecast

On the weather map...Another near-perfect weekend is on tap this weekend. High pressure will dominate again this weekend. We'll be a bit chilly on Friday as winds will be from the north...keeping us in the low 60s. Winds should shift on Saturday & Sunday drawing in some slightly warmer air as we will reach the upper 60s. Some areas will challenge 70 especially on Sunday. If going out in the evenings be sure to carry a coat.

As a reminder...Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour at 2 am Sunday morning as daylight savings time ends. Also a good idea to check the batteries in both your smoke detectors & weather radios as well.

My official Tennessee Valley weekend forecast...

Friday...Partly cloudy. High 63.
Friday Night...Clear skies. Low 44.
Saturday...Sunny. High 68.
Saturday Night...Clear skies. Low 45.
Sunday...Partly cloudy. High 68.

Football forecast...

LSU at Alabama (7:00 pm - Tuscaloosa, AL)...We'll see partly cloudy skies with a kickoff temperature in the upper 50s falling to the upper 40s by the fourth quarter.

Auburn is off this weekend.

Alabama A&M at Alcorn State (2:00 pm - Lorman, MS)...We'll see sunny skies with a kickoff temperature in the middle 60s falling to the upper 50s by the fourth quarter.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!
